Test Framework

• Should we replace SWIG with pylib-openflow?
  • Ensure API underneath is not dependent on either
  • Endian conventions need clarity; where is conversion done?
  • Raw packet conversion
• Wrapper class discussion; how much to depend on what's in openflow.h in tests?
• Directory structure for test framework
• Platform specific switch access discussion

Actions

• openflow.py is in ripcord repository; get access and compare (Dan/Tatsuya)
• Get to the point where tests can be written by more people (Dan/Tatsuya)
• Send proposed directory structure and installation conventions (David E)
• Generate platform specific tests that require switch configuration to begin investigating interface (Dan/Tatsuya)
